Amy C. Jackson

Amy Jackson is a District Administrator for the Guardian ad litem program which is administered through the NC State Administrative Office of Courts. She began her career with the program as a volunteer in 2013, hired as a full-time Program Supervisor in 2017 and most recently promoted as the Guardian ad litem District Administrator (now covering Burke, Caldwell and Catawba Counties). Amy was awarded a Certificate for Professional Excellence by NC Chief Justice Paul Newby at the Guardian ad Litem Statewide Conference in 2022.

Amy is also an Ordained Minister and serves as the Associate Pastor at the Boone MB Church in Boone, NC.  She is also currently serving on the Board of Directors for the USMB Church Conference. Amy works as an On-Call Chaplain for Amorem (formerly Burke and Caldwell Hospice), serves on numerous boards in Burke County including the Board of Trustees at Western Piedmont Community College and UNC-Health Blue Ridge, Board of Directors.

Amy received a Master of Divinity from North Greenville University, Bachelor of Arts/Sciences in Criminal Justice from Lees McRae College after transferring credits from WPCC. Amy was honored by Morganton’s Rotary Club as the 2023 Most Distinguished Person of the Year. Amy is a lifelong resident of Burke County, and inspired daily by her 2 adult children, 3 grandsons EJ, Brooks and Banks and a grand babygirl, Winter Anne.
